I am a mixed media and watercolor artist inspired by nature and our relationship with it, especially from a female perspective. My practice balances the preservation of nature’s harmony with a quiet reflection on the tensions of contemporary society.
Spending my childhood summers in a rural village by grandma I experienced a sense of freedom and a close connection to nature. These early experiences remain an essential source of inspiration in my work continuously forming my artistic language.
Folkloric elements appear as subtle references to ancestry, memory, and cultural roots, reinforcing the enduring bond between humans and nature. Across all mediums, my work encourages introspection and slowness, inviting viewers to reconnect with their inner landscapes and the quiet rhythms beneath everyday life.
My acrylic paintings move between abstraction and figuration. Through layered materials, organic structures, and nuanced color fields, human forms emerge and dissolve, blurring the boundaries between body, plant, and earth.
In my oriental-inspired watercolors, I leave intentional areas of white space—moments of silence that allow the viewer to pause. Here, time and place soften, opening an imagined, timeless garden that reflects an inner, spiritual dimension, a meeting point to the divine part of human soul.
The need to be connected to nature and creation is part of my everyday life. I am an enthusiastic biogardener and artist. I live my creativity in gardening as well: I am learning through observation, through experience and using my perceptions to gently form my garden’s constantly changing inhabitants to create a place for recharge and meditation as well.
