Parallel cycles

Nature is my primary source of inspiration.

Within its rhythms and transformations, I recognize parallels to the changing stages of female existence.

This series of mixed media works explores the relationship between the female body and the living structures of nature.

In contemporary Western society, it has become increasingly difficult to remain connected to qualities traditionally associated with feminine experience — intuition, cyclical rhythm, emotional depth, instinct, and harmony with the natural world.

Like nature itself, these qualities are fluid, irregular, and constantly shifting. Yet the environment surrounding us moves toward control, speed, rationalization, and technological abstraction, gradually distancing us from silence, ritual, and embodied presence.

In my artistic practice, I seek connections rather than oppositions.

Spirit and matter do not exist as separate realms, but as complementary aspects of a shared reality. Painting becomes a space where this inner and outer world can briefly meet — not as theory, but as lived experience.

The works are built through multiple layers.
Organic textures and botanical elements emerge alongside traces of the female figure. As these layers intertwine, the boundary between body and nature begins to dissolve.

These paintings do not attempt to provide answers.

Instead, they ask:

Are we still capable of reconnecting with the deeper rhythms beneath modern life?
What forms of knowledge and presence have been lost — and what might still be remembered?

The works remain open spaces for reflection, uncertainty, and reconnection.
